How Can I check my Google Chrome version?
Before upgrading to the 64-bit version, you need to know about your current Google chrome version. First, you need to check whether you have 34-bit or 64 bit. Don’t worry, follow the below procedure to check your current version.
- Open the Google Chrome browser.
- Type chrome://chrome.
The 32-bit version will look like the below image. You will not see a 64-bit word anywhere.
There is another method to check your current version. Go to three horizontal lines symbol in the top right corner. Go to Help -> About Google Chrome. You will see the same screen shows that in the above screenshot.

- Go to the google chrome download page.
- Select windows 64-bit. If you don’t see this word, then click on Download Chrome for another platform. Select the 64-bit option for your OS. Click Accept and Install.
- Download and Install Google Chrome 64-bit version.
After downloading the 64-bit version of google chrome once you again check if it is a 32-bit version or 64-bit version.
- Open google chrome page
- Type chrome://chrome
You will see (64-bit) after version number shows that in below screenshot.
